Since 2011, Christine has built a career as an esteemed creative strategist and storytelling expert, with a passion for mission-driven work. She has developed award-winning creative concepts, storytelling campaigns, strategic digital marketing plans, burst campaigns, and designs for mission-driven clients such as the American Cancer Society, AMAZE.org, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Heart Association, CDC Injury Center, Center for Parent and Teen Communication, Heifer International, Making Caring Common, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and more.
Approach
Christine has always believed in storytelling as a catalyst for compassion and change, and that it is imperative to prioritize and nurture owned spaces (e.g., website, email), so as not to be fully reliant on the whims and agendas of social platforms. (This approach is mission critical in the wake of the current administration and how that has impacted people’s usage of social platforms.) She helps organizations articulate their unique value proposition and offerings with a humanized, story-driven lens, and brings expert-level project management skills, creative thinking, attention to detail, and diplomacy to the table.
Value Proposition
Christine’s ambition lies in doing incredible work in partnership with smart and kind people. She only take on projects where the mission resonates, where a positive personal rapport is evident, and where she sees that she can provide value to the client. Christine thrives on identifying pain points and figuring out creative solutions. She has worked with many clients who have been told that a goal they are striving for or something they want to change is impossible to achieve, and she has rolled up her sleeves, developed a plan, and delivered on the dream. This isn’t her being cocky; she just doesn’t believe that anything is impossible when it comes to communications, storytelling, and creative work when you have the right people in the room.
Superpowers
Creative/Tactical: Christine’s curiosity and the expertise she has developed in launching multiple creative businesses and projects has helped her develop a wide range of high-level creative skills. She also is exceptional at project management, thinking through the connections in creative execution, and holding all the details. As a result, Christine is unusual in being a freelancer who can be an organization’s creative multitool—she has, at times, filled nearly all of the roles of a traditional communications agency as a one-woman show. This means clients can efficiently get expert capabilities, mindshare, and thought partnership to make real progress, with zero overhead.
Human: Ultimately, getting anything done is tied to human experience and different personalities, and Christine respects that everyone brings something different to the table. She has fostered cohesion across large teams, built trust in wary clients who have been burned by other agencies, reeled anxious clients off the ledge by meeting them where they are at and getting things done with optimism, and been brought in to solve problems in challenging situations when diplomacy, care, and the space to air grievances before moving forward was needed.
