Welcome Back, Brit

Whether you’re particularly tuned to politics, sports, celebrity, etc., salacious news is irresistible, but I never, ever could understand how people could so plainly celebrate and take advantage of the trials of Britney Spears. The distress was palpable, and the situation was so sad for her and her kids.

It’s subsequently been really refreshing to see photos (such as this one, from InStyle) of a much happier (and in this case, adorably ladylike) looking Spears. I know she’s got an album to push, but I hope this pretty, cheerful demeanor is at least vaguely reflective of a more peaceful and healthy state of mind.
