Explore 2019 #244: Amazing PB&J&C smoothie


Are you trying to stick to a self-care plan right now? I just looked at my journal and realized that today marks 60 days (!!!) since I majorly disrupted my food situation in an effort to deal with a variety of physical ailments. The results have been pretty mindblowing and I'm thinking about recording a podcast episode about it. I actually no longer feel like I'm doing a challenge of some kind... it's just how I'm living. It's been a fascinating shift.

I wanted to share an awesome smoothie recipe...perfect if you are off traditional desserts but are having a sweets craving! I usually dump all of this in my hand blender cup without thinking about the ratios but today I measured it out so I could share: 1️⃣ 3/4 cup oat milk 2️⃣ 1 frozen banana, sliced (I always have a stash of them in my freezer) 3️⃣ 1/3 cup frozen cherries 4️⃣ 1 large spoonful cocoa powder 5️⃣ 1 large spoonful peanut butter. I guess call it a PB&J&C smoothie? Anyway, it's awesome. ENJOY!
