SPEAKING + MEDIA

I show up the same way
in every room I enter — warm, direct, and useful.

Whether I'm on a stage, in a studio, or on a panel, the approach is the same: no performance, no jargon, nothing that doesn't actually help someone. Attendees tend to leave with specific things they can do — not just things to think about.

I've spoken at conferences, for global brands, and in intimate community settings. I've been interviewed on NPR and BBC World News. I appeared in a documentary. None of it was planned. All of it was because I had something real to say.

WHAT I SPEAK ON

The topics I know from the inside.

Not because I read about them. Because I've lived every version of them — and figured out most of what I know along the way.

Communications + diplomacy

What it takes to walk into a broken room and build what comes after it. How to hold the full difficulty of a situation and the strategic clarity to move it forward.

Parenting without perfection

The Minimalist Parenting framework — grounded in intuition, tested in real family life, and deeply skeptical of optimization culture.

Creative entrepreneurship

What it takes to build things from scratch — a media brand, a consulting practice, a design business — without a formal business plan, on conviction.

Intentional living + editing

Doing less on purpose. Making space for what actually matters. The "minimalist" framework applied to real, complicated lives.

Career leaps + evaluation

What it looks like to leave what appeared to be your destined path. Betting on yourself before the evidence is there. The practical and emotional reality of big pivots.

Community building + content

How Boston Mamas became a pioneering hyperlocal media model. What it takes to build a community around a voice — and when to let it go.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

After the talk.

Dr. Christine Koh’s program for SPARK Kindness on “How to Navigate Re-entry Stress” was incredibly well done and impactful, filled with timely and practical wisdom. Dr. Koh offered accessible, concrete, powerful strategies in an easy to understand format with authenticity and humor that made our audience feel seen, validated, supported and empowered.
— Laura McCarthy, Spark Kindness
Christine presents with ease and plenty of warm laughter, an engaging and thoughtful speaker. The beauty of Christine’s counsel is that whilst probably the most intelligent person in the room at any given time, her wisdom is real, grounded, and doable. I came away with actionable ideas and tons of useful inspiration.
— Chrysula Winegar
I was impressed with Christine’s ability to share her insights with the audience in such a natural and conversational manner. She was really able to connect with the group, particularly during the question and answer session, and I was fascinated with how quickly she related audience questions to concepts in her book.
— Edward Doherty, March of Dimes
As a guy who tackles way too many things because he cannot bear to ignore the ‘what if’ that comes with every opportunity, Christine made me realize that doing less does not necessarily mean I’m missing out on something. In fact, choosing to do less is itself an opportunity to focus on all that is truly important to you.
— Jim Lin, Vice President of Digital Strategy, Ketchum
Christine’s “do less” life strategy was life-altering for me to hear. As a woman and entrepreneur, the popular method for living life seems to be go, go, go. Christine forces you to slow down, assess your life in a mindful manner and make simple adjustments that will clear your headspace — and your schedule.
— Erin Loechner, author of Chasing Slow
Christine Koh is an amazing speaker. Thanks to her presentation, I came away with clearer focus, a calmer viewpoint, and a much better idea of what I truly “need” to be doing as opposed to staying busy just for the sake of busy-ness.
— Meagan Francis
