When a beloved foodie relative gifts your foodie teen a New York Times Cooking subscription (genius clutter-free, interest-aligned gift FTW!) and your teen makes a tomato jam recipe from the subscription to send with a thank you card (and learns how to can along the way since it needs to be shipped to California). I can't even. Also, luckily there was extra jam we got to sample and it is crazy delicious!
