Embrace 2020 84/365: focus on you
Who needs a virtual hug? I am giving you a big bear virtual hug! Everything is so challenging but there are 3 things that I prioritized this morning that has me in a good head space right now so I wanted to share them with you. (I did none of these things and was in a shitty head space yesterday.) 1️⃣ As soon as my body woke up at 6am I got right out of bed so I could have an hour in the quiet with no one asking me anything. 2️⃣ Instead of jumping right into client work and other projects that I work on with/for other people, I prioritized my own writing for that hour. OMG IT FELT SO GOOD. 3️⃣ I did a short 20 minute yoga practice.
Bottom line = in this time of being in such close quarters with people (even people I love with all my heart) I need time just to myself where I work on my own things. I hope this post will encourage you to do the same, if that is what will serve you right now.
