Embrace 2020 88/365: weekend slowdown

Question: Are you feeling a major sense of relief when you get to the weekend? On the one hand, people say it doesn't matter what day it is, but the weekdays man...I am still working full-time and it is completely exhausting to also be on point all day for everything else at home. I was so relieved to wake up and realize it was Saturday and I didn't need to juggle all day long.

Today is the first day since we've been sequestered at home that I have had the energy to tackle a major household project. A couple of years ago we moved Laurel and Violet upstairs to the loft space in our condo and there are no closets. This is their old bedroom closet and I finally cleared it out so they have more clothing storage space. It was mostly full of size 6-7 hand me down clothing I had set aside for Violet to grow into and then welp, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT.

But the great thing? I texted my neighbor who has two young girls to see if she wanted the clothing and she was like "OMG yes, because my kids need clothes but I'm not going to the store!" I love it when things work out like that!
