Embrace 2020 100/365: Day 100
Did you know it's the 100th day of 2020? It probably feels like the millionth by this point. I SEE YOU AND FEEL YOU. And you guys, I am SO TIRED. It's weird because I'm actually in decent spirits and in an incredibly fortunate place right this second (I say that because I know things can change on a dime) where my income is intact, my creative juices are flowing, my kids are in a rhythm with distance learning, and I still find ways to laugh. But seriously, the constant stress and management of everything...so exhausting. I suspect this gray rainy day isn't helping.
Anyway, I still have work to do today but I'm going to try to get it done quickly and then sign off early. Maybe do some baking or laze around and watch TV or play games with the girls. Meanwhile, on this gray day I'm looking for the light (thank you Karen) and am so glad I caught a quick picture (literally one shot) of this magnolia tree in my neighborhood yesterday. I love magnolias in bloom but they're short-lived and the blooms will probably be down after this rain. Thank you tree, for reminding me that what we're experiencing is a season. Things will change.
