Embrace 2020 119/365: mood shifters
How are you holding up, friends? Yesterday I was just sort of BLERGH all day long. Nothing specific happened, just a case of Monday pandemic blahs. And when I washed my face last night I looked in the mirror and was like, holy shit, your hair and skin looks WEARY...I'm not talking wrinkles or gray hair. Just sort of exhausted, dry, worn...does that make sense?
Today I need to turn things around for my sanity and that of the people around me. I've been up working since 5:30am and just took a break to massage apricot oil into my scalp (I have no idea if there is anything legit about this though it just seems like a kind act of self-care and the bottle does say "moisturizes dry hair") + last night when I was rooting around in my bathroom drawer I discovered this purple clay mask (unopened!) so I figured I'd embrace a different kind of mask this morning.
