Embrace 2020 96/365: gardening inspiration

Wow. Violet was out back with Jon for a bit and then she was out there for a long time after he came in. I went to check on her and she was executing her gardening vision...to buttress the border Jon had fixed with large stones. I was BLOWN AWAY. It looks freaking amazing. And it was so quiet and calm that I decided to join her. See all those dead leaves and weeds amidst the stones? I PICKED THEM ALL OUT. It took a long time but we happily chatted and listened to music and it was awesome. And I repeatedly thanked Vi for inspiring me to work on our backyard space since we'll undoubtedly use it a lot over this stretch.
