Explore 2019 #262 + 263: Joanne Chang's Pastry Love + s'mores pie

What type of pie are you excited to eat today? I recently received Joanne Chang's new Pastry Love book for work and WOW it is gorgeous. I'm already a fan of Flour Bakery and Cafe and love that Chang represents women (and Asians!) in the food industry, but I had never tried one of her recipes. So as I was making my Thanksgiving pie plan, I decided to try two recipes from this book.

I got to whip out my blow torch for this s'mores pie, which we'll bring to a friendsgiving gathering tonight! The recipe was easy to follow and the only thing I decided to do differently is pipe the marshmallow meringue instead of spoon swoop it. Violet is VERY excited about this one!
