Say hi to my beautiful Mom! I mentioned last month how grateful I am that at 83 and following heart surgery over the summer, she is spry as ever! At Thanksgiving after the prayer she thanked my sister for hosting and said that she hosted for so many years and now was happy to have her children take over. We took the reigns yesterday and at one point while she was standing with her plate of food I offered to find her a place to sit and she said, "Oh, no thank you. I like standing here so I can see everything going on!" This lady is a true gift...ever the steady, loving, overseeing matriarch, even when she is not hosting the party.
