Explore 2019 #292: Violet's perception of quiet reading time

I discovered my love for reading later, as an adult. As a kid, there was no time for bedtime stories or cuddly reading time; my parents had 7 kids and ran a store with long hours. So one of the greatest gifts as a parent now has been lots of time with books. When both of my kids started reading independently and we could cozy up and read together, it was like a magical door opened...I could enjoy something *I* loved alongside my kids. But imagine my feelings when I read how Violet perceives our quiet reading time in the "What I Love About Mom" book that made me burst into ugly tears.
