Explore 2019: Eataly

Finally visited Eataly Boston and lived vicariously through Laurel and Violet since I just started my food detox yesterday. Their pizza and gelato looked spectacular (and tasted so, according to them!) and I was SO grateful to the woman at the gelato station who took incredible care (new set of wrapped scoopers, different tub of gelato) when I asked about nuts in one of the flavors (re: Violet's tree nut allergy). They have a protocol in place and man, it's so comforting when food places take this seriously.

Also, detoxing wasn't so bad because the build your own salad station was fabulous.
