Magical Kindness

I want to share a story about kindness. A couple of weeks ago my 16yo asked about getting crystals and I was like, OMG I NEED CRYSTALS too. And it turns out my friend + colleague Brady Hahn is a crystal expert. As in, she has a she shed full of crystals! I, on the other hand, am definitely not a crystal expert. I believe I asked Brady something like, “Can you tell me which crystals will solve all my problems?”

It turned out Brady had access to crystal inventory and I asked if I could buy some from her because I would rather do that than via a random (to me) Internet purchase. I shared what I wanted to spend and asked for some simple recommendations.

Brady put together a beautiful set of slides detailing her recommendations. I was blown away because literally, I was hoping for maybe a couple of texted photos. The slides were so beautiful, in fact, that when Violet saw them, she was like, “Um, may I get a few crystals too?” The girls and I had the loveliest time talking about what things we could use help with (they were both like, "Mom, you need the stress stone!") and making choices accordingly.

After further back and forth, the most gorgeous, lovingly assembled, generous package (the crystals we ordered + some magical extras Brady gifted to my girls + dried sage which wow, yes to cleansing and healing) arrived (see below). There was so much love and good juju circulating as we unpacked the box and talked about each of the items.
