OMG My Reel!

Since leaving my career as a scientist I have never been one to follow a formula. I have favored instinct over convention. So when I started talking to my friend Dina about helping me develop a reel I said something like, "I don't want a traditional speaker reel because speaking isn't the only thing I do. Also, I don't want to be too specific about my projects because I want it to be somewhat evergreen. Can you just somehow convey that I'm a person who is worth hiring because I'm an engaging, smart communicator who is interesting and fun? Oh, and also I don't want to shoot any new footage because I haven't had a haircut in two years. Can you make it work with existing material? I have been on the internet for 15 years so there's lots of video floating around!"

I mean, I am kind of a client nightmare, right? LOL.

Well, Dina is a wizard. This is what she produced. It is exactly what I wanted without knowing exactly what I wanted. It makes my brain hurt thinking about how much video she sifted through AND I am in awe of her creative vision and execution. I love it so much.
