Gratitude: Mystery Fillings, Music, and More

[Installment 5 of the Declare & Celebrate Gratitude Project] This past week I was grateful for...

…unexpected gifts. My friend Leslie sent a book for Laurel and a onesie for Roll totally out of the blue.

…dinner with friends. Monday night we welcomed our friend Taina to our home and Tuesday I enjoyed a ladies night out with friends Nicola, Heather, and Heather.

…my sister Sharon. What a weird week it was.

…Jon, for being my in-house therapist amongst many other things.

…yet another freelance writing offer that just rolled in.

…fine chocolates with mystery fillings.

…my life list, which is motivating me to explore all sorts of fun new endeavors.

…the sound of ukulele, mandolin, and guitar filling my house.

…how much Laurel has grown in confidence in the last year. We had a well visit on Friday and in stark contrast to her last well visit, Laurel was chatty and cheerful instead of burrowing into me and refusing to speak.

…bright orange paint. And feeling confident enough to paint with it.

…Jon and Laurel accommodating my wish for a small potted Christmas tree this year.

What were you grateful for this week?
