#reverb10: Action

Today's #reverb10 writerly prompt is: December 13: Action. When it comes to aspirations, it’s not about ideas. It's about making ideas happen. What's your next step? (Author: Scott Belsky)

Oh man, I have so many projects I want to take action on, but the thing that is most pressing in my queue relates to some long overdue matters regarding my design business Posh Peacock. One overdue task includes a major redesign of the website, because at present, the site doesn’t properly capture the range of work that I do and I feel that it's time for me to step up my design work to the next level. The site redesign is one of the things that came to mind when I thought of renewal as my word for 2011.

This fall, I took the first step in this process by designing a killer new peacock logo, and since then, the site redesign keeps getting kicked forward on my to-do list (frustrating). I need to simply dive in and devote time to revamping the site. I’m setting Alt Summit (in January) as my deadline to get this done.
