Embrace 2020 122/365: pandemic miracle

THIS IS NOT TRIVIAL. Anytime I have ever asked my Mom for a recipe, she's like, "Oh, I don't measure anything" or she'll give me the ingredient list to figure out ratios and then I'll later learn that a secret ingredient is missing (Korean shade is real, yo.) I can't wait to make my Mom's radish kimchi this weekend!
