Embrace 2020 123/365: The Week Junior

How are you doing with the people-y factor outside? One of the (many) weird things about right now is that when it's beautiful out, like today, OMG IT IS SO PEOPLE-Y and people vary in mask wearing + how much they are distancing, etc., so it's just not super relaxing. Knowing it was going to be a beautiful day, Jon and I went for our walk at 6:45am to reduce the people-y factor.

My point is, even though it's gorgeous out, we're also still inside a lot. All the more reason I'm grateful for The Week Junior. They kindly sent a gift subscription for Violet and you guys, this magazine is SO GREAT. It’s a weekly mag for 8- to 14-year-olds and includes unbiased reporting on global and national news, science, animals, entertainment, books, sports, etc. I actually read the first issue along with Violet and learned a bunch of things and Violet was especially psyched to pick up more animal knowledge! Also, yes, we are including this one her school reading log. It totally counts!
