Embrace 2020 112/365: grocery gratitude

Anyone else getting teary or bursting into tears at the grocery store? I did just that after going to the grocery store this morning. Huge, huge ups to Trader Joes. I was 8000% anxious about going to this store today, which I needed to do because their rice milk is the only milk Violet will drink...I ordered a case that was supposed to be delivered last night but they were not sure if it would be unearthed by morning. So I had Rice Milk Anxiety (OMG) and was also worried about whether they would be stocked for the other stuff on my list and how social distancing would work because their store is so small.

Not only did TJs have a system in place for social distancing, but they were fully stocked, the staff was cheerful and patient, and I asked about my rice milk case on arrival and by the time I got to check out they had unearthed it for me. I said thank you to staffers at every turn; they were just amazing. Thank you, TJs and everyone else working on the front lines in so many different ways.
