THIS. Obviously, we need to vote Trump out this November, AND I cannot underscore enough how crucial it is to vote and advocate at the local level. I see a lot of people tune out of their town/city + state elections because these races don't feel "big enough" but local elections are so important! One of the best things I have seen happening on my city Facebook pages this week is people getting in the game...looking for information and asking questions about protocol, budget, etc.

In particular in these moments where the "leadership" of this country is a fucking dumpster fire, lean in hard at the local level! The odds that you will actually be able to communicate with your local leadership, make your voice heard, and see change are higher and more immediate. Don't give up. Keep going.
