The Talk

Yesterday I felt hopeful, today I feel sick to my stomach again. Probably against my better judgment, I watched the video of the 65-year-old Asian woman getting attacked while witnesses didn't just stand by; they literally closed the door on her.

I have been asked a lot over the last couple of weeks about tips for parents and recently was asked about what "The Talk" currently looks like for Asian-American kids (parallel to The Talk that sadly has become a rite of passage for Black families). Here are the key things I have been thinking a lot about -- two culturally driven, two tactical. Please share to help Asian-American families.
