Embrace 2020 6/365: back to work

Back to business! Over the holiday break, I worked on some personal projects quietly behind the scenes but I was most definitely on vacation from client + blog work. It was MARVELOUS and much needed and I credit my dear friend/colleague Morra for helping me find the courage and confidence to take breaks. Rest is so important.

My love for rest meant that I found myself, at various points over my two-week break, dreading today. But last night, as I started getting my head back in the game -- doing a week look ahead, reviewing/prioritizing my Monday to-do list, and thinking about how I want to show up professionally in 2020 -- I realized it was time to embrace getting back to work. Not only is negative framing around the inevitable pointless, but my work life is pretty rad. Let's do this thing...starting with a quick (one take), not perfectly composed (but who cares) selfie as I'm on the way to my work space! Wore my pink blazer for strength! Happy Monday!
