Halloween Reality Check

A gentle and loving reality check about Halloween. Quite frankly I totally let go of the Halloween loss narrative once I asked Violet what was most fun for her. She wanted to carve pumpkins (did it this past weekend) + she loves candy (totally doable...I will buy the candy on Friday when it is 50% off lolololol) + her favorite thing is just getting dressed up (also totally doable). In fact, I am being Fun Mom and am going to try to dye her hair blue this Friday. PANDEMIC DONE BROKE ME!

Also, tomorrow's new Edit Your Life Show episode with Asha Dornfest is about how to handle Halloween during the pandemic. We talk about lots more beyond the above (which are ruminations I have had in the last couple of days). Be sure to subscribe if you're not already on the train with us.
